The UX-79BD-2 Blue Destiny 2 was the sister unit of the UX-79BD-1 Blue Destiny 1. These units were developed to test an experimental system that would boost the performance of the MS. This unit was stolen by the Soviet Union.

The stolen Blue Destiny was first used to intimidate Alexander Dubcek into stopping his reform of Czechoslovakia during Operation Danube, easily gunning down any rebels that stood in its way.
The unit 2 was used in Operation Urgent Fury to assist Grenada and Cuba into fighting back the US and its allies. It was last seen fighting its sister unit before being declared as missing in action along with unit 1.
